Well this book isn't thick enough to give you the full picture.
However born in the 1920's of a very poor family - Had to start work at 14
years of age and made my own way.
The education I got was living in the 30's & 40's as people of my age
know only too well. And of course travelling, both in the forces and
paying my own way. It seems to have paid off.
